So today I had a makeup appointment because we took round two of our engagement pictures this afternoon. I used this particular person for my first epics session but wasn't completely sold on her. Plus, I thought my makeup looked a little washed out in my pictures. She was always pushy from the beginning asking me if I booked her services for my wedding yet, etc. so I decided to search around for other makeup artists.

So today she's doing my makeup and asked me if I had any trials since my last appointment with her and if I booked anyone yet for my wedding. I thought these were awkward questions so I just said no even though I booked my makeup artist the other day (pictures were posted on our FB page).

Then as I'm leaving she asks if I liked my makeup and I said yes and then proceeds to ask me if I'd write a review on the Knot-Hudson Valley board. Then tells me that someone posted a review that wasn't the best the other day. Meanwhile, that was ME! I didn't say anything bad... just said that I went for a trial with her and while I thought she was nice and professional, I wasn't 100% in love with my makeup so I continued to look.

Just thought this was extremely obnoxious and ballsy of her & makes me even happier that I booked elsewhere.

That is ballsy!! Honestly it really goes to show you though, go with your gut!!! Congrats on booking someone that you love
