We're inviting everyone just to meet the 125 minimum to get a certain price. So no B-listers for us

B list???

We did not have a b list. we are both very against it lol. we picked our venue according to our guest list and based our budget (price per person) on what we could afford based on those numbers not vice versa. I don't believe in cutting people out. When in doubt, I invited them and put the ball in their court. I just don't feel right inviting people to 'fill' the space or because other 'A listers' could not make it lol.

We do have a B-list which consists of some of his parents friends that they would love to invite but we've never met. If we don't meet our minimum or are getting more 'no' rsvps than we thought we'll be sending them out way before the rsvp date.

yeah im def. not gonna have one. our list is probably 110 at most so i figure bout 15 to 20 percent usually say no

We are not doing a B list either. We have 150 minimum so we have more than enough people to invite :)

We are not doing a B-list. My FH and I were just B-listed ourselves for a New Years Eve wedding, got the invite last week! It really hurt my FH as he and the groom have been good friends since they were little. Seeing how it affected him is reason enough for us to not do that to someone else.

How do you know you were b-listed? Not sure if I would consider it b-list if you got the invite last week. Regular invitations only go out about 2 months before a wedding.

We don't have a B-List. We have a 150 minimum and have a list of about 200 and if not everyone comes we are happy to pay the plate for our dream wedding!

THIS! Our B-list is basically entirely FH's parent's friends

It's so funny because right after we got his engaged FMIL started going on and on about how we had to invite the Johnson's and I seriously have never heard of these people let alone considered them a MUST INVITE. So now whenever something isn't within our budget I always say 'if only we didn't have to invite the Johnson's!' I don't think FH thinks its funny anymore...

No b-list. We're also hoping to meet a 200 minimum. It seemed a lot easier before we planned the eparty. Now that the invites are out and people aren't rsvping, I'm nervous we won't meet our high minimum!!

we basically dont have a B list.. we have a couple 'maybes' but theyre more like.. were not sure if we HAVE to invite them and need to check with parents..
we want to have 120 people (only have a 90 person minimum) and right now we are barely at 120 because im super stingy about people bringing guests for no reason, so we will probably just invite every person we do want there and thats that.

We currently have what we are calling a 'B-list' but I do not plan on inviting them after the fact. They are just a list of people that I have not decided on wether or not to invite at this time. A lot can happen in a year and a half and I am just keeping it open. :) HTH

We have so many people on our guest list we are hoping we get a lot of Nos! No B list for us. And we also are not letting our parents invite people we dont know. If we haven't met them, they aren't coming! lol
