I am not quite sure when I have to start sending out the invitations for the people onmy B list. How many weeks before the rsvp date? Is 3 weeks enough or should I go for more?
My RSVP date is 4/23/11. I was thinking of mailing the A list invites in 2nd week of March. Then mailing the B lists on about April 1st if I need to.

My wedding was June 5 this year. I mailed out the A list invites on March 5 and the b-list on April 5. My RSVP date was May 5.

my wedding was Sept 17. i mailed out the A list july 2nd and then b-list went out first week of august. rsvp date was august 17. i really waited to see how many no's i had and then i felt good to send out the B-list

I'd say 4 weeks should work. We actually didn't get to our B list because the A listers took so long to reply that it got so close to our date we didn't think it was appropriate anymore...we were depending mainly on getting a lot of nos early...but they didn't come til late or after the RSVP date. If you're not depending on the replies from the A list then 4 weeks is a good time in my opinion

I was kinda thinking of having a rolling list, like as people say no, send the next few invites out. Granted I still have time. I think FH wants to invite a few too many OOT friends that he's not close with anymore so they're going to say no, so I may not need a B list because he's overestimating his side.

We did rolling and it got a little wild to try and keep up with. Be HYPER organized and it will be fine.
