B Pics

I had seen some of the B pics that people have done here and they look fabulous. When I was telling FH about it his mouth dropped open and asked if I would do it. I am skeptical. I am overweight (i'm honest) and I am not sure how I would feel about it. Can anyone tell me the experience they had doing it? How far in advance should they be done? About how much? FM me if you feel more comfortable.TIA

Hey!! I think you should do them if he wants you to!!! It's such a great experience! I did them with Mariann from Blue Daisy. Here's a link to her site Blue Daisy Boudoir Her prices are on there, she starts at $500 for the shoot and pics. You can make your own album or have her make one for you, they start at $300 and up I think. She makes you feel really comfortable. You bring your own outfits and props (think colorful spiral lollipops, flowers, pearls, feathers, men's shirt and tie, fedora...) and the shoot is around 4 hours. I'll FM you some teasers I have from her. She works with all different body types, and will help you pick outfits and poses that flatter you and make you feel sexy. Good luck!!

I'm in the same boat... I'm a plus sized gal too, and not sure if I want someone else looking at me skantily clad. But on the other hand, I know FH would love it.

Based on what you said... I would think your FH wants to see you do bpics. This would be a great wedding present for your FH. There are a lot of larger women who did bpics. My photog said 'the camera loooooves curves. You have nothing to be worried about.

I am considered overweight by every doctor that puts me on a scale and once the clothes come off and I see myself in a mirror I sometimes feel very insecure and ugly, however, I am still considering doing these types of pics for my FH b/c I know he'll love them.

Your FH loves you for who you are no matter what you look like. If he wanted to see a skinny blond in lingerie he'd pick up a copy of playboy or something.

I personally would feel better doing these pics with a female photographer or a male that I feel very comfortable with, but I'm sure that if you(and I or anyone else) find someone who's a 'professional' they've seen all body types and can help you find the right poses that will make you look fabulous and accent all of your good features.

If you or anyone else want any more encouragement I'll freely pass it on!

I have never heard such mean things.. your FH loves you.. all of you.. He isn't engaged to some skinny b who then lets herself go. You take them bc you love yourself and you love him. Every person here has some flaw... be bold and don't care what mean people think. If it turns him on then hey its worth the money!!

I am considering doing them for an anniversary gift and I am overweighs and definitely don't love my body. That being said, there are all kinds of sexy poses that can be photographed - with things you don't want showcased kind of 'blurred' or in the background, KWIM? I'm planning on looking for someone who has experience with larger girls. I say GO FOR IT! Above all else, it's a GIFT for your FH, and you'd do pretty much anything for him. Imagine how liberated you'll feel when it's all over! HOTTTT!!!!!

Melissa, I say if your FH sounds like he'd like it, than go for it! It actually may be an experience that might make you feel BETTER about yourself! I've been toying with this idea myself. I lost about 50 pounds over 2 years ago, but in my mind, I will always still have those extra 50 pounds on. But I think it would be a rather empowering experience, and I'm sure my FH would be floored if I did it, as I'm sure yours will be.

I think that after you take the pictures you are going to feel soooo sexy and so amazing!!! It will give you a great sense of confidence! When else can you pose and roll around as if you were a model!??! I know none of us will ever get that chance! I say GO FOR IT!

I would DEF do them. . I actually had a friend who is a larger woman do them and she said it actually made her feel better about her body than ever!! and your FH loves you and your body. .. I am doing them and I don't have a perfect body by FAR but I know that he loves it and the pics are for him. . .. and all I can say is girl if your FH's mouth dropped open at the THOUGHT of you doing pics just imagine how he will feel when he sees them. ..... .
