BABIES????

How long is everyone planning on waiting to have children after married?

Oh, it depends on so many things for some of us...........I am turning 37 in 2 days! I have had uterine fibroid surgery, which may increase my chances of getting pregnant but there is some possibility that I developed scarring which will decrease my chances. The fibroids are gone but they could come back. I'd be better off having kids before they grow back. I have only just begun to have real successes in my career and I would love to use my income to travel for a bit with my FH, but we have to have a heart to heart talk with the doctor to see if we really have the luxury of waiting. FH wants kids but the decision as to 'when' may be up to me. We have agreed that adoption would be a fine option for us to also consider. I have a friend with similar medical problems to mine. SHe thought that she would have to try for a long time to get pregnant but now she has 2 kids that each came along on the first try!!!!! Some things are meant to be and I can't tell what those things are for me yet!!

I hope that no one feels that my story about my medical history was too personal for me to post here!

working on the house as we speak...if the house goes as plan...it will be very very soon...

we been together already now for 7 years.. enjoyed good vacations already... so now we will take on the next exciteing parts of our lives

neither of us want children at the moment. it's going to be a good 5 or 6 years before we try.

We didn't wait....our little boy was the most wonderful and precious surprise....our original plan was to start trying the wedding night....but the plan now is to start trying for our 2nd starting in May 2006

Neither one of us wants children right now. We're not sure if we'll ever want them. If we do decide to try, it won't be for at least 5-6 years.

I'm still trying to decide whether to have another one. I really don't want any. I have 13 yr old Twin sons... I had them at 18 yrs old.... I'm like 405 yrs, hopefully they will be out the house!!! so to start all over.. I don't know..
FH has a 10 yr old daughter.. So hopefully we are done!

We are going to wait 2 years because I am graduating from Law School in May and I need to work for at least 2 years before I can think about having children. me & FH though want children right away but living on LI forces me to work.

Well, I'll be turning 35 a few months after the wedding and FH will be 37 three days later.

We hope to be preggos asap. With our age though it doesn't always work like clockwork.

I know my body is no way near regular and the fact that I'll be 35

We are having lots of fun practicing

FH can't wait and neither can I. It's time.

I want to finish my doctoral coursework which will take 2 more years....but you never know what life will bring I just know it will be hard to finish school if we try earlier but I could see it happening earlier. We are the last of our friends to get married and most had babies last year!
