Well, I know that at 6 months I started giving Ryan prescription vitamins with fluoride. I guess once they are off the formula that's the only way to know for sure that they are getting all the nutrients they need.

Once you go off of BFing or off of formula, and you say your son is eating LL the same foods as you ( except peanuts0...then THAT food is providing all the nutirents he needs.

Make sure yuo eat balanced meals and your son will be eating balanced too

i would advise staying away from junk food for the baby...but I guess french fries are ok

some parents at Juliannes daycare give their one year old cupcakes, chips, and pretzels as their snack... the teacher wants to tell them that fruit , yogurt, strung cheese, cottage cheese and even rice pudding is better than that junk!

Annalise gets vitamins with flouride and iron. If you do not have flouride in your water then ask the dr. for a supplement. If your baby will eat jarred food then try 2.5 jars a day. That is all they need. I give Annalise yogurt for lunch and if she will eat after that I give her cheese or some veggies like red pepper strips. They are her favorite. She gets fruit from the yogurt and I add some fruit in at breakfast. She eats french toast sticks, waffles, pancakes, etc. I try to buy all organic boxes of these things from the freezer section. She also has cheerios when she finishes her main breakfast. Since we eat well I give her our dinner unless it is too spicy. In that case she gets Gerber Pasta pickups, fish sticks, white meat chicken and a veggie.
