Baby acne

Do any of the mommies know of any way to get rid of it?

I tried this product called aquaphor on Amber. It worked really well!

ambersmom can I get that at CVS? Is it supposed to be 'safe' for babies?

Amber has sensitive skin and although it doesn't specifically indicate if it's safe for babies, I did get a sample of it in the Gerber package I received (had all sorts of product samples for babies). I think CVS carries it. I remember getting it at Duane Reade. My friend's daughter had terrible baby acne and that was the only thing that worked.

Aquaphor is the best...its kinda like vasolene...maybe a little thicker. You can find it in any drug store in the baby isle near the vasoline.

I use it for any kind or irritaiton, dry skin etc.

I used the Aveeno baby lotion stuff that says it is for excema, and it worked great.

I didnt use anything and it clears up on its own. I found that it was our detergent aggravating his face. We made visitors use a receiving blanket to avoid his face/head touching their clothes. My pediatrician also told us not to bathe him every day - he said every few days and just a wet washcloth everyday.
