Baby clothes shopping

Lyla is growing out of her 0-3 quickly, she is about 12 pounds and supposedly 23 inches (I don't know how accurate it is the way the nurse at the drs office measures her). Some of her 0-3 sleepers still fit her but some don't. Anyway, I went to target and bought a bunch of 6-9 winter stuff on sale, I even bought 12-18 m for next summer on clearance! Some people gave her clothes in 3-6 that fit her but they are mostly summer styles .

So, since she doesn't exactly fit into the 6-9 yet, should I still go out and buy her 3-6 for fall/winter or should I just get by with what we have? I hate to spend the money for just 2 months or less of use.

Also, where do mommies shop for baby/toddler clothes? I've only been to Target and BRU so far. What about Dept stores? I need good bargains (Anna and Claud )

I saw at Kmart that they had blanket sleepers for $5.99

I would get her a few larger pieces to get her thru the fall. maybe a cute outfit or two and a few PJs.
they also sell extender tabs for the bottom snapping part of those onesies. I bet those might help too.

I guess buying and keeping tags on is a good idea, Target's return policy is within 90 days. There aren't any more Kmarts in Queens that I know of, I guess I can't go out to Old Country Road. What about Old Navy?

Victoria, it's amazing that they were so small at birth and how big they get in such a short period of time!! Lyla was also only 6 lbs at birth and all her clothes were swimming on her!
