My girlfriend is having a baby and she lives far away so I wanted to send her something nice to say congratulations, but not something too practical since she's going to have a shower. What can I get that's a little different, but not too expensive? Any ideas?

What about a diaper cake? You can DIY... my aunt made one for my sister... so cute!
ETA: I tried to put a pic up, but it's too big... just google it

She's only 3 months, she doesn't een know wha gender the baby is yet. I wanted to get something more for her as a keepsake I guess...
you could get a nice blanket for her to use or things remembered has a cute train that's for 'babys firsts'

Re: Baby gifts ideas
how about a baby book!? this is great! i have one and i put everything from when i was pregnant (sonogram pics) until he was born (hospital bracelet, footprints etc)....you can put anything you want in it....if its her first, you can also try maybe giving her that famous baby book 'what to expect when your expecting' or a subscription to a baby magazine.......good luck!
i like this idea. I had something similar when i was pregnant writing cute, fun, important things & had a seperate photo ablum just for sono pics bc i had sooo many!

Make a diaper cake and wrap it up and ship it on out!! They are easy to make and should ship nicely if packaged correctly!

I knooooow, but we don't know if the baby is a girl or boy! And I wanted to do things remembered, but I'm having the same issue cause it's hard to personalize it... I guess I could just put Baby Smith? IDK what to dooooo

I don't know what your price range is but this is $50.00 - probably could use a coupon too
