I got married in November and just recently started to get an itch to get pregnant...I want a baby so bad. I feel like my DH and I accomplished a lot, we got married and recently purchased a new home.
Now I am getting the itch to have a baby but know we aren't financially stable just yet being we haven't even made our first mortgage payment yet but when I think about it I get really depressed that we can't have one yet
Am I the only newlywed feeling this way?

You're SO not alone - we totally have the itch but we know we need to wait a little while longer so we can get some other things accomplished first
Same here. Plus...we're really enjoying the time together and being able to get up and go where ever we want to go. Probably within the next couple of years. No later.

I have it everytime I see my nephew!! He is so cute! I want one - but definitely want to wait AT LEAST 2 years...gotta couple things to fix in the house & trips to take as a couple....but then that's it!

Awwwwww...I am so glad I am not alone, I guess when the time is right it will happen but I just can't stop thinking about it. My DH isn't ready just yet and I know were not financially stable to start a family.
We agreed to start trying sometime next year...CAN'T WAIT!!!

So am I . We got married on July 30, 2005. Financially we're not in the best position either. I am also going to be 35 in 2 months. we're gonna start trying the end of the summer.

I can honestly saw we do not have it. DH and I both know for many reasons we are in no place to have a baby. Dh does want kids whereas I am on the fence about it

Girls, enjoy your time as newlyweds! I got pregnant less than three months after getting married, and as excited as we are, we really do wish sometimes that we had more time to travel and do all the other things we wanted to do before having kids.

I'm so with you. I have been trying for the past 3 months. We kind of stop trying cause we want to get a house frist and then start trying again. I want one so bad. We will start again in the summer cause we are moving to nc in june.
