Baby Itch

I got married in November and just recently started to get an itch to get pregnant...I want a baby so bad. I feel like my DH and I accomplished a lot, we got married and recently purchased a new home.

Now I am getting the itch to have a baby but know we aren't financially stable just yet being we haven't even made our first mortgage payment yet but when I think about it I get really depressed that we can't have one yet

Am I the only newlywed feeling this way?

You are certainly not the only one to feel that way and what Rosaria said was right - there is no such thing as the perfect time - when it happens for you is when it is meant to be :) In the mean time have fun trying

Sometimes...but we just can't right now, we have to wait until DH completes his unaccompanied tour unless I want to do it on my own which a big no. But I do understand how you can get the itch.

I was going to say the same thing. I am PG now and it definately feels like the right time. And, we live in a small apartment. So, the more you think about it, you will find more and more reasons to be scared (finances, career, etc...). So, I say jump right in (no pun intended) and try to have that baby

My Dh and I have the baby itch also. We are moving into my grandparents house this summer so maybe then. We dont own the house but we are paying the utilities and taxes. It is not a bad deal for a house. It has three bedrooms so maybe the summertime will become making a baby time.

You're SO not alone - we totally have the itch but we know we need to wait a little while longer so we can get some other things accomplished first

I definately have it, I even bought a cute cable knit sweater onesie from Baby Gap for my future baby. I know it's considered to be bad luck, but I don't believe in luck. We have to wait too. It *****.
