baby registry

I am pregnant and due in March I was wondering when is the appropriate tme to register for all the great baby stuff? I figure i will wait until I am six months to play it safe. Is this about right? Also, what are the names of some good places to register other than babies r us?

Six months is a good time. I learned a lot about baby stuff on the babies r us website. They have a great customer review section. Buy Buy Baby is also a good place to register. Ohhh it's so exciting to register. Congratulations on your pregnancy and have fun preparing!!

First off Congrats!!!!

I started my registry around 5 months and went back a couple of times, finished it by the time I was 6 months. You want to do some research on some of the products so take the next couple of months to look at different things. A lot of people suggest to buy the Baby Bargain book. It gives you product reviews and it helps you decide the best choices financially. I found it helpful on some things and not helpful on others. I asked family and friends for tips on what to register for.

Buy Buy Baby is a great place to register and I've heard of some people using Baby Depot.

6 months might be a little too late to start, don't forget you want to finish the process before your shower and invites for your shower might go out around the 6th or 7th month.

I'm 21 weeks and we are waiting until after our Level II Sono to register, which is this Saturday! I say 5-6 months is a good time to go because that's usually after the big sono..

We waited until after my Level II sosngram as well. It was easier to register for stuff, since I knew what the sex was.
