Baby Shower - brunch or luncheon? and Where?

Help!
I am hosting my sister's baby shower and have been researching some places to have it. The shower will be for approx. 30 women. I'm figuring Saturday is more convenient and want it in the daytime. I would love to have a brunch, but most of the places I've found serve lunch and dinner. I'm looking for a place in Western Nassau, North or South Shore. Any recommendations? Also, does a baby shower run typically like a bridal shower?

I had my friends baby shower at the Davenport Printing Press in Mineola and I loved it.

Baby showers and bridal showers are the same just with different gifts and most baby showers I've been to do not have alcohol served-maybe just a punch.

I am having my cousins bridal at the Davenport!!!

I am also planning my sisters baby shower and booked at LaParma III in Oceanside.. The price was good for the amount of food and it includes wine on the table. I also booked on a Saturday from 1-5...

My friend's bridal shower was at Sergio's in Massapequa. They are so nice there and they have a private room but it books up fast.
The food is also very good.
