so i'm helping plan a baby shower for my FSIL and since her mom doesn't really know anything about baby showers cause she's never planned one i'm in charge of decorations, games, cake, and favors.
for the cake i was planning on ordering either a bottle, diaper, or pacifier shaped cake. for the favors my FSIL was thinking about getting cookies in those same shapes but all different ones so not everyone gets the same shape and putting the person's initials on them to personalize them. i already order her chair with the decorations on it.
so if any of you have any ideas PLEASE tell me. it's going to be in a back yard.

On the Girls Next Door they played the poopie diaper game where they melted different kinds of chocolates (Baby Ruth, Milky Way, Snickers, etc) in the microwave then put them in the diaper and people had to guess what they were. It seemed like a fun game. I was at a baby shower and we played bingo and had to write down on our bingo card what we thought she got as gifts and when she opened the gifts we crossed off whatever was on the list
We also got bears dipped in wax as a favor, they smell great!!!

OOOo heres what we did: We made little diapers, and stuffed them with cotton. We put a raisin in 5 of them. Then when those 5 people found the dirty diaper they had to then create a baby out of diapers. It was pretty funny watching them with masking tape trying to make a head and legs... lol
We had another game where everyone wore one large safety pin with 8 small safety pins and no one was allowd to say 'Baby' so, everyone who said baby, you were allowed to take one pin from them...
Atthe end we gave aprize to the person who had the most safety pins...
Ummm... let me think ive helped plan plenty!
OHHH We got a large bottle, and filled it with those candy mints that melt in our mouth... and everyone had to guess how many mints were in them, and then they won a prize...

i dont know if you have a bakery already or where you are but black forest in lindenhurst has the best baby shower cakes. I purchased a cake decorated like a bassinet and the other one was booties. They were gorgeous.
