Hey ladies! Not so much wedding related...but any ideas for a not too expensive location for a baby shower? My sisters due in October...I'm new to this so I'm not sure when would be a good time to throw it either, maybe August? Thanks!

I just went to a baby shower at La Piazza in Merrick and it was really, really nice.
I've also been to one at La Parma in Oceanside...also great.

we had my sisters bridal shower at Angelinas in lynbrook. It was amazing!!

my sister is having hers at HR Singletons in Bethpage. She's doing a nice sunday brunch, i've been to an event there before and its very good!

I think that the lessings are pretty cheap , like the library or bull dog. the food there is really good !

A friend of mine had her's a chateau la mer on a sunday brunch for 80 people and it came out to $30 a person. She had 3 courses plus unlimited mimosas and bloody mary's and for the mom-to-be sparking apple cider. Didn't go, but everybody was raving about it!!!

Farmingdale knights of columbus. 350 fo a few hrs and its a nice room. I had my baby shower there and my daughters 1st bday.

We had my sisters bridal shower at Matteos in Huntington. Its on 25. The food was soooooo good and was very affordable. Under 30pp HTH

my bridal shower was just at Tavern 18 in new hyde park
or there is the Inn at New Hyde park...I had my eparty there and it was great!

sisters bridal shower was at Cafe Tessarosa in Syosset.......
sisters baby shower was at La Famiglia in Plainview this past weekend!
