I never had one given to me for my son because the circumstances were.. It would of had to of been right after my bridal shower ( didnt want to be tacky and have both)
Just wanted to know if you all you mommy's had baby showers and how and where they were?

I just gave my MOH one yesterday,it wasnt a surprise but she loved it.It was held in my home this is her 3rd child her 1st baby shower she got amazing gifts she will also be having a baby shower given by her co-workers and doesnt know about it She deserves it all a truly genuine woman.

My shower was a COMPLETE surprise. Everyone told me we were going out to brunch for my grandmothers birthday. We showed up at the resturant and everyone yelled surprise. I was so shocked everyone kept it a secret, esp. FH.

yep my mil and sil-s threw it for me...was not a surprise and I knew the date because there were many things going on at that time...we almost were away on a cruise during the weekend they were planning it for! in the end we wound up not going on the trip- and it was free! ... I also put together the guest list...and we had it at the aux police headquarters ...so there was no charge for the use of the facilities.. it was a great party!! altho not everyone showed who rsvpd...but all that were there had great food and great company- everyone chatted w/ each other ...not like the usual parties where people only talk to those they know...
and we recieved a lot of neat stuff...some of which is still in our garage... we still have not set up the pack n play...but are now using the swing and the bouncer that were given to us. have not used the stroller yetdue to the bad weather....and not used the high chair (no need to yet)
