Baby Talk

Does anyone know how long they want to wait for kids?
Louie and I discussed btwn 3-4 years...i want them a lil sooner like 2-3 years.

I think when it happens it happens, but we do want our own time...

I'd like to get pregs in about 2 years or so.

we're not really gonna plan for it but preferably about 2 years. I think fh wouldn't mind if it was sooner

I would like to wait until I am tenured for teaching and considering I'm still in school for another 2 years, then it would have to be that long. But whatever God has plans for will happen.

FH wants to wait a year after we are married....that is probably when we'd 'try' other that that if it happens it happens. We have been together almost 7 years now so we've had 'our time' or at least i think so...FH feels a bit differently.

we'll probably wait a year or 2. we want to make sure we're settled in a house first, and we'd like some 'us' time in the house before we have a baby. but if it happens before then, that's perfectly OK.

Same. Although we have a destination wedding July 4th weekend, so maybe we'll stop being careful after that.

I think i would like it to be in about a year, but if we are blessed sooner than thats fine to. I know FH and i would be thrilled at anytime.

while FH would like to enjoy the married life for at least a yr his reasoning is that he'd like us to travel. I'm being realistic and saying 'everybody says they'd like to travel before children and it never quite happens that way'. we won't actively try within the first yr...but be won't try NOT to either. neither of us believes in altering your bodies natural hormones and bodily functions to prevent pregnancy so we only use condoms and he hates em...so who knows what'll happen. either way we see babies as a blessing and know that god will only bless us with one when he sees fit...and if god thinks its time...who are we to say its not.

Already have a gorgeous little girl....
Going for another baby on the honeymoon (possibly a few weeks before the wedding....)

Either way we will be happy... But I want a little mommy's boy! (And I dont know if I could handle another one like my daughter!! )

At least 2 years... enough time for FH to finish his residency, and for us to save up some money, pay back some student loans, and have some time to ourselves. Plus I worked so hard for my degree... I want some time as a full time pharmacist first.

I would love trying right after we get married but, in reality we will prob wait a year or two to save for a house! All my close friends have baby's so it gives me the itch ya know!
