Bach party close to wedding date??

So my sisters are planning my bachelorette party and we are trying to throw around some dates... One of my best friends since I was in 1st grade now lives in London and she is coming home a week before my wedding. I really want her to be at my bach party but im not sure if I want my bach party to be a week before the wedding. I really dont have a reason as to why but for some reason im not comfortable with it? I could end up having it that weekend and everything can be amazing but idk what to do. On the other hand, if I have it a month or 2 before, 2 of my other best friends might not be able to make it.

Are there any girls that have had or are having their bach parties closer to the wedding date?? If you did, was everything still amazing? I guess im nervous I am going to be hungover for a week straight up until my wedding

You will have to drink a WHOLLLE lot to still be hung-over after a week! I think its totally fine! Its all about being with your close friends and I think it is worth it to wait until they are all there!

The weekend before will be perfectly fine! It'll be nice having it close to the wedding because you'll be so excited as it is and then everyone you want to be there, will be.

I think you will be fine. If there was not a reason to have it so close I would say you may be running around trying to finalize things but maybe just take an extra day off before the wedding to do the running around!

crashing - personally, i don't think it's a good idea to have a bachelorette party a week before the wedding. the weekend before my wedding, i was running around finalizing things with vendors, last minute DIY, etc. unless it is going to be something more low-key (or you are taking off the whole week before your wedding to prep). JIMO but at teh end of the day, if it is really improtant to you for your friend to be there, then do it that weekend

ETA: i had mine 3 weeks before and i thought THAT was too close because i 'lost' that weekend to finalize DIY stuff and prep for the RD
