Bach. Party opinions

Bach. Party opinions

Okay so I have been reading about these one day cruises to nowhere and I really want to do that for my bachelorette party. I am not planning my own but I would like to suggest it to my MOH. Here is the thing, my wedding is in JANUARY. So, do you think it is cheesy to have the bachelorette party in August or September so I can do this?

Also, a bunch of girls who are coming to it are LIW girls, feel free to weigh in too!!

THANKS!

the idea is that its supposed to be your last horrah as a single lady. Having it that far in advance its really just a night out with your friends. jmo

I think it's fine! If that's what you really want to do and that's when it's offered, then go for it! FH's bachelor party is about 3 mos before the wedding!

i dont think it is cheesy! that sounds fun! and because of the weather...you need to do it earlier..BUT maybe 3 months instead of 4

I think it's a good idea, afterall it's supposed to be what YOU want.

But, if I was one of your bridesmaids, the few weeks leading up to your wedding I would feel like we should take you out again, even something more low-key, because the Bachelorette party would seem so far away. Don't know if $ would be an issue then for your BP, you know? Just a thought!

It's probably easier to do it earlier since your wedding is only a couple of weeks after Christmas...

Go for it!!! These days it's not like once you get married you'll never see your girls again. Do your thing and I agree with Jesse's Girl (who has the CUTEST icon EVER), your friends will prob want to take you out again! Hooray for two Bach Parties!!!

That's great!! I would totally do it for my friends too, but you know every once in a while, you get a friend who would grumble about it, unfortunately!

aww thanks diane!

and thanks everyone for their opinion!!

i was thinking if i DO the early bach party - and then i will still need to keep myself occupied when FH goes on his so i dont call him every 5 seconds. . . i was thinking of having a girls night in slumber party

my dream is to have the bach party that she had in the princess diaries HA HA HA HA

I think having it that far ahead of time will defeat the purpose of a bachlorette party. You can always do that anyway but definatly do something closer to the wedding too.
