Re: Bach party suggestion
I know yogi's has karaoke on Saturday night. It is attached to Crown Plaza. Not sure if thats good because I believe its in holtsville. I don't know on any bars close by though.
Re: Bach party suggestion
I know you don't want to schlep into the city but the difference between city karaoke bars and regular is that a lot of places in the city like sing sing or japas 35 have private rooms that just you and your friends can rent out, as opposed to sometimes waiting an hour or more to sing with random strangers, with the private room scenario it's all your group so there's really no waiting around. I don't go to karaoke on the weekends for that reason- b/c I hate waiting. I've done the private room thing and it's so much fun, usually they give you a huge plate of finger foods and pitchers of beer, wine, sodas or whatever.

i actually want the bar feel with the ability to belt out a song or 2. I know some people won't sing and I don't want to put them on the spot in a karaoke room.
