it depends...normally yes its a surprise. The moh and bm's plan it. But i am going away so it couldn't be a surprise, plus i helped paid too bc i wanted to so i was involved.

We are doing 2.. The 'destination' one (going to Jazz fest in New Orleans) I am helping plan, but I am NOT forcing ANYONE (including bridesmaids) to go... The other 'in-state' one I will have NOTHING to do with!!!

It depends.. you can plan it or give them ideas of what you want and what you dont want.. everyone usually pays their own way.. however they usually pay for you... the BP should plan it for you.. but I thinK since we are doing a joint one we will be planning it!

As a lil' bit of a control freak... I'm planning mine. I figured I'd guees it by staring at my registry anyway, so might as well have it where I want, the way I want.. LOL.

i got yelled at for trying to say what i wanted to do. so i guess it depends. sometimes the bride helps, sometimes the events of the night are a complete surprise. but i think you would definitely want to know ahead of time the date and time so that you can be ready.

If I did not give hints I would be pole dancing...There Is nothing wrong with that but since I am getting knee surgery the second weekend in March and the bach. Party is May 17...I am not chancing the knee

MY MOH is planning it- but she's been asking what I want to do / how I want it to go (do I want it local? who to invite? dates? etc....) So, I'm involved - but her and my other BM's will plan most of it...
