Just curious..but what are your feelings on lap dances at a bachelor party? ok or not ok? Im ok with it as long as there is absolutely no touching involved...also how do you feel about private parties (in a hotel room, etc)...im totally against it..

i am just sayin that its okay that you and ur FH dont want you to do things...we shouldnt feel bad about sayin to them something that would upset us...if it does indeed upset us
that is a great point diane!!! we should be able to tell each other what we like and don't like!
honestly, FH HATES the idea of male strippers and finds them disgusting - he hates when girls get raunchy in public and the whole 'sex and the city' vibe. . . he is very old fashioned and he gets grossed out by stuff like that. Luckily, I hate stuff like that too so I don't want ANY of that for my bach party OR shower. . .
As for him though - we started dating so young. he never got to go away with his friends - he didnt go to college so he never had that party experience. SO, when his BM said he was taking him to Vegas I said 'as long as it is WAY before the wedding' As of now, i dont think they can afford the trip but i dont really care what he does - i trust him and he has gone to bach parties and i dont want him to be the one who 'wasn't allowed' - he NEVER goes out without me . . . he is just laid back and likes to relax so if i am not dragging him out somewhere he is just chilling - so i wouldnt want to hold him back. PLUS, my brother and cousins would be there so i feel that he can't go too crazy!
hahah lucky for brother and cousins!!! thats who i dont trust with FH... i heard stories from FH abotu his brother BP and i was NOT impressed... therefore i am NOT thrilled with him planning FH bp.. and i have spoken to him already...
as for what we do... i Honestly dont like naked men all up in my business (diane.. remember what they did to jeanine!!! i woudl be really disturbed if that was me...)
so i would rather relax, or see naked women.. lol for FH... he can do and see what he wants as long as they keep a fair distance from his hands and face....
i think ill leave it at that.

my FH trusts me with all his heart too and he wouldnt want me to go to certain places and do certain things for MY bach party.
I totally see your point... It's like, 'Hey, you want to see a naked girl do a little dance, well, I'll get naked and dance... AND I'll have sex with you... FOR FREE!'... IMO, that's BETTER than a strip club!
totally...

Hmmmm i think some people took it the wrong way...THose of use who said we dont have a problem with it, never told anybody they were wrong for how they feel, if you think its wrong then fine, i dont care. I dont expect people to feel the way i do.
I dont understand why we cant just say how we feel about a topic, everyone express their opinion, and we all just respect everyone for their views.

I think that's the reason why I chimed in at the end... It got really heated... I love sharing opinions but on the computer its extremely difficult to sense someone's tone of voice, tones, scarcasm.. And a lot gets taken the wrong way.
Internet is very difficult for that one reason, and you end up explaining more in the end, when people get frustrated.

I know and i thought thats why you or anyone else would feel defensive...listen those of us who are ok with it, or at least i feel this way, its how we feel and our own relationship, i dont think everyone should do what i do in my relationship. I know alot of people feel the way you do, ALOT infact...and seriously if you have a FH who feels the way you do and respects your wishes then that is what matters, not how we feel.
Listen i realized that your post came from the guilty conscious about not letting him go, but dont feel bad. You are entitled to feel the way you do, and if your fh is not fighting you on this then be grateful you have a great FH, i know girls who feel the way you do and their Fh's are disrespectful about their views.
Im not hating either, i just dont want you or anyone else to think we were saying any of you are wrong. This is not about who is right or wrong bc there is no right or wrong answer, to each their own.

hey i think we are will think about it and worry...Not just about the girls but i am also worrying about him gambling, if it were up to FH he would spend most of his time gambling, he is over the whole stripper thing and is not one to get excited over them...hes dated real hott girls and had his fun, its nothing exciting anymore...he doesnt even go now, even when he was supposed to go for a friends bachelor party, he didnt go to the strip club bc he felt it was wrong to do when youre in a relationship. I think the gambling thing worries me the most, and a few other things.

Re: bachelor party
I just read all of this and never got an uncomfortable vibe. I think everyone was alllllll good about their opinions!
For me, FH could even grab a honker, because that's his last opportunity to grab anything besides mine.
(He would never go to a strip club or have a private party though....so it really doesn't matter!)

Re: bachelor party
definitely NOT ok with the lap dances and such..... Actually FH told me the other day he wanted to have a combined bachelor and bachelorette party...VERY surprising that he would say that but HEY...at least I won't be thinking about yucky girls rubbing all over him!

I think FH would be so uncomfortable around naked women in the context of lap dances, etc... that it would be more comical that sexual.
