we were out with fh's best man and i asked if anyone has thought about the bachelor party and best man said he didnt know, that it was up to fh and that he was not sure who was planning it. i said hm maybe we can do something all together since my brother is my 'maid of honor=honor attendant' and we left it at that. i have not mentioned it again since with fh. i know he was planning on best man surprising him with something. how does it normally work? i do not think its a big deal if we help plan something all together just to celebrate or do nothing at all too. how are u all going about this? i had planned and surprised my best friend's bachelorettes party btu she moved out of state now and i do not even think she will be at my shower never mind a bachelorette party. my other bridesmaid said she was not sure what i would like so was hesitate to do anything.

usually the best man and his BP plan the bach party....and your BMs would do the same for the bride........
i picked what i wanted to do and the girls took care of it. FHs best man is planning his Bach party....if your FH would like to do a group thing then go for it! maybe ask him what he thinks of it first he might just wanna go out with the guys.....couldnt hurt to get his opinion on it! good luck

usually the best man plans the bachelor party and with the help of the other gm. Maybe the best man isn't sure how this all works so just let him know that usually its how its done. FIrst i would talk to your fh before making the decision to plan his bachelor party. So my opinion is to talk to him, i dont know if its a big deal and nobody else on here knows, only your fh can tell you how he feels about doing this.
For you it would be the same thing, your maid of honor and your bp. Well maybe give her a few ideas then for what you want and this way she has something to pick from.
For me it was MOH and for fh one of his gm

Usually the best man plans it along with the GM but FH is sort of planning everything since his best man is in dental school so he is kind of preoccupied. FH told his best man and and GM that he wanted to go to Vegas. So that's what they are going to do. But they are planning everything along with FH. I'm pretty sure they will plan something else for him here in NY also without his input.
My MOH is planning everything. The only thing input I had was when we were going to Vegas. She is planning everything else with my bridal party.
