Bachelor Party ideas for NYC?

FH's original plans were an overnight trip to Atlantic City; but 2 of his friends just lost jobs so they are going to do NYC instead. FH is crushed.

What are some great alternatives for them? I would probally think Manhattan is best? These guys are big drinkers that love listening to rock. I am guess dinner somewhere (ideas) and then...?

well they can do dinner, maybe meat packing district. Would they prefer a club or they can go bar hopping. Either they can do it downtown or theres a bunch of bars on 2nd ave in the 50's or in the 40's. Or maybe go to a rock bar like Dunhill's

I think Cafe Wha in the village is still around.. live band played a big mix of songs.. mostly rock oldies 70's 80's (not hard rock). I haven't been there for a while.

I haven't been in ages though - I should check it out again!

For dinner, what kind of food?

The Strip House is one that comes to mind for a Bachelor Party - steak house, but the atmosphere is very sexy, much better ambiance than say Peter Luger.
