I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of a co-ed bachelor party? My sister wants to do this the Sat. night before our wedding because a lot of people don't know one another and a bigger group would be better. We were thinking of starting out at say Govenors for a comedy show and then taking the ferry to Fire Island for bar-hopping and hanging out at the beach. Opinions?

Re: Bachelor/Bachelorette Party
My FH's sister and brother-in-law had one. It was really pretty fun. But all it really was was most of the bridal party and some extras went with them to a bar and hung out. Nothing too crazy. I'm not sure why they wanted to have one together - part of me likes the idea (less worries about what his friends will do - or mine for that matter) but part figures, it'll be nice to have a 'girls night out'.

Re: Bachelor/Bachelorette Party
I have alot of out of town guests and we have decided to go to Tony and Tina's Wedding the friday night before our wedding and then I am going out with the girls in my bridal party (who will be in town then) in the city for my bachlorette party after the show. So it's sort of for both of us? My FH wants to do a golf trip with his friends too.

Re: Bachelor/Bachelorette Party
I think that we are going to do it. I am not one to be traditional and go to a strip club to look at hairy, bulky guys. I want to just have a lot of fun and hang out with all of my friends, not just the female ones.

I think it would be a cool idea. I am going to ask my Fi if he wants him and his men to come with us on Saturday night....cool
