Bachelor/bachelorette Special

Helene was crying because she said that Aaron, (like 2 weeks after taping of the show ended) were at a bar in Toronto. She said he totally checked this other girl out right in front of her and she got really upset. Aaron said that he was not checking out this other girl, but that Helene overreacted and they spent the whole night talking about it. He said her reactions to things and her mis-trust made him end the relationship. She said that they didn't see each other for some holidays and stuff, and both her and her family were upset about that. But, then he came tyo NJ for xmas, andthey had a great time (or so Helene thought). Then 1 hour before his flight home he broke it off. He told her she could keep the ring.

Ryan and Trista are still together and planning to get married, though living arrangements and the date of the wedding are not confirmed yet. Charlie was a surprise guest, and said that he thought Ryan was a great guy, and that Ryan was the kind of guy Charlie would set up with his little sister. He said he was not in love with Trista, so it made sense that her & Ryan are together. I may be missing some stuff, but this is what I remember!!

In all honesty...how the hell can you build trust in a relationship that came about via picking from a TWENTY FIVE WOMEN? He has his tounge in someone's else mouth the day before he proposed to this girl, and she is supposed to trust him and this is supposed to be a relationship to build on?

I am so sick of these stupid contests...it totally insults the sanctity of relationships and marriage. And honestly, how stupid are any of these women to participate, and think they COULD build a good relationship based on this? Including Helene??

You know, Misty...it's funny you shoudl say that...b/c last night after I watched this special, I said to DH...I HATE how all this sounds...

Chris (host) asked Ryan a question about whether it was difficult b/c he had heard that people in Ryan's town were 'consoling' him b/c everyone thought Trista was going to pick Charlie. Ryan's answer was something like, 'No, really - I WON!'

And I thought to myself...now, here I believed that Ryan was in love w/Trista, yet he's still talking about this like it's a game show! It really is disgusting when you truly think about it. But, America LOVES it!

I didn't watch the Bachelor, but I really hope Ryan and Trista stay together - they seem to be very happy together

Misty-I agree with you, from what I got from the show Trista was physically involved and very intimate with Charlie the day before Ryan proposed to her. Didn't she invite him back to her room so they could be alone? It's all really crazy to me, and I just don't understand it!

What Ryan said was that everyone in his town was so convinced that he lost that he COULD HAVE said 'no really, I won' and no one would have believed him.....

I actually think Ryan and Trista MIGHT pull through this...but you are all right....all of these shows are REDICULOUS...
