Bachelorette Ettiquette.. Please help

Bachelorette Ettiquette.. Please help

Ok so Im throwing a bachelorette party for my bf Aly (08 bride AlyNJoe). She knows about it, but doesnt know where it is.

My question to you all- Since all of her wedding hoopla has begun, she has become better friends again with one girl ( who is in my BP along with this friend Aly of mine- we all went to college together) - hope thats not too confusing...
So anyway, Aly originally thought it would be nice to invite Melissa to her bach party, even though she isnt invited to the wedding. I thought maybe it wasnt such a hot idea. Aly is limited in the amount of people that she could invite to the wedding ( like us all ya know)... so if her guest list was allowed to be bigger, she would have invited melissa, however that was not an option. So now here we are with the evite out already and wondering should we have invited melissa? Aly would love her there, but we are left with the thought that its probably not ok to invite her since she isnt invited to the wedding... Aly wanted me to ask you girls... please honest opinions

IMO I just think that the fact that you are sharing a piece of her 'wedding' experience is nice. I would invite her...but then again it is a tough decision because she may feel slighted because she isn't invited to the actual wedding.

IMO, I would probably be insulted to be invited to the Bach party and not the wedding, so I don't think she should be invited. I would feel bad and ask why wasn't I invited to the wedding.

My friend did that with another friend when she got married a few years ago and it was great. As long as she understands that she's not invited to the wedding and she still wants to come then it works out fine!

Honestly we have had people at bach. parties that were notinvited to the wedding. its a fun night to have some fun with friends. Im sure in some way she already knows that she isnt invited to the wedding OR maybe someone should explain to her why at somepoint. ims ure she can understand that guest lists get crazy!

i think is melissa is ok with it and wants to go she should be invited...but she shouldnt have to put any money towards paying for the bride since she isnt going to the wedding. i've gone to bach parties of friends of friends
