How common is this? MOH said she doesn't want to ask everyone and expect that they pay for one. I really have no idea of the cost. I'd like to go to two different LI places. I'm not looking to be fancy shmancy, just looking to get from place A to place B no driving. What is your experience girls? Thanks!

Re: bachelorette Limo?
Also: would it be rude to just invite people to the two different places and be ok with whoever shows up to either?

Re: bachelorette Limo?
I know for my b-party Sat the girls got a limo to pick us up from our Pole dancing class in the city to take us to Queens to get ready for the evening portion of the day. My MOH got a great deal on a fully stocked open bar limo (that's going to be dangerous) and we can bring whatever else we want onto the limo. I think for all that they have planned to do it's just easier (and safer) to have the limo for people. The limo is going to take us to dinner and then after dinner we are going to drive around until the limo ends at 11pm and then it's off to bar hop in the city

and I agree - people will spend the money on a limo for a b-party. I would have no problem chipping in whatever for a limo for someone's bach party. I think they are fun, and like I said, a safe/easy way for people to get around (especially if you are going to multiple places). If you had to keep taking cabs everywhere that could add up and you might as well have gotten the limo, ya know?

Re: bachelorette Limo?
all of the b-parties i've been to have had them except two. they were in the city and everyone ended up taking cabs home (to Queens) bc we weren't going to take the train at night.
personally i would rather spend the little extra money and everyone have the limo all night instead of spending it on different cab rides

I've been to a couple bachelorette parties in the city and I had to chip in for limos, I think it's fairly common.

its a lot more common than you think. i'm doing one. no one wants to not be able to drink it up because they have to drive home!

Re: bachelorette Limo?
Thank you for the responses. Not sure what to do about this now though. My MOH said she doesn't expect other people to pay for a limo and if people are driving, she's concerned about them driving to two different places like I'm requesting. She's also concerned about people drivinv if we go into the city. Throwing a bachelorette party for me is a gift so I feel ungrateful/uncomfortable telling her it's common for people to chip in for a limo. Maybe I could suggest a van if it's cheaper?
