Looking to have a low-key girls night out. Suggestions? I was thinking dinner and maybe a comedy club? Your input is greatly appreciated.
THANKS!

Re: Bachelorette Parties
Maybe this is corny, but I want to go to one of those paint-your-own ceramic places. There's one in Brooklyn, the Painted Pot, and I think on Fridays you can bring your own wine. I feel like I'm a bit too old to get plastered, plus I no longer bounce back like I used to!

Re: Bachelorette Parties
What about an old fashioned slumber party?
Or a day at the spa followed by dinner?
Broadway show and dinner...I Love you, Your Perfect, Now Change is a great show that fits the whole wedding/relationship theme. And its off Broadway, so its not as expensive as a Broadway show.
A day visiting wineries on the North Fork?
Just my ideas!

Re: Bachelorette Parties
Me and FH decided to not have our own parties but to have one big party. We are renting a limo and heading to Atlantic City!

Re: Bachelorette Parties
I just wrote a pst on the NWR board about 'I Love you, you're perfect, Now change!' I saw it last night and I think it would be a GREAT bachelorette party. It's all about realtionships fomr first date through the wedding, kids, etc. FH and I didn't stop laughing. It'll make you glad you're leaving the sing;le life, and also help you laugh at the challenges you're about to face as a married woman. For a saturday night it's $65, for a non saturday you can get $45 with a coupon code. It's right near time's square, and its a block away from the laughfatory comedy club, so it's really easy to do that and a nice dinner, or that and a comedy club. HIGHLY recommended!

Re: Bachelorette Parties
We went to dinner at Icon in the W Court hotel and then headed to the WetBar next door afterward. VERY low key, and I had a great time! The point for me was to just spend time laughing, eating, and drinking with the girls I grew up with and who remain my best friends.

That sounds like fun!
I totally agree about the bouncing back from getting plastered!
