Bachelorette Party

Does anyone know of a trendy karaeoke/japanese restaraunt in NYC? For some reason, I thought Sushi Somba did Karaoke but I was wrong. Any suggestions or any other fun ideas? (I have two under 21 guests coming) THANKS!

I went to BINY for my b'day. It was a little sketchy when we walked in and we were the only non-Asian in the place and they were all singing actual Japanese songs. But we had a private room that was huge and really awesome. The food isn't great but we had a blast. The people who had the room before us were actually using it for a bach party! They left their balloons behind so we joked that it was my b'day/bach party

I'd also recommend Japas 55 on 55th b/w 8th and Broadway. I've gone there a bunch of times. What's good is you can sit at the bar and sing--you don't have to get up on stage. They also have private rooms as well.

Finally, there are some hard core karaoke places in NYC as well. I know that one of them is Racoon Lodge on the Upper West. I think I went there once and they have a stage. Hope this helps!
