bachelorette party

I am not planning on inviting my coworkers to the wedding (I am assuming I will politely bring up the fact that my hall has a maximum # and in order to fit in all of my family, I can't invite everyone),... but my question, would it still be OK to invite some of the girls from work to the bachelorette party?

I personally would not. But it really depends what you are doing/where you are going.

I don't want people to talk about my bach. party at work. That's where rumors.... fly!!!!!

I am inviting my co-worker to my wedding though.

It depends on how close you are with them and what it is you're planning on doing. If you're having a spa, dinner and some wine, it should be perfectly okay to invite them if you're close with them. On the other hand, if you're having a stripper grind with you, you may want to save yourself the office rumors like the above poster said.
