Bachelorette Party

Bachelorette Party

Hi all! I'm looking for some ideas on where to go for a bachelorette party on Long Island. It's been awhile since I've been in the club scene and I have no idea where to even start. Any ideas of places in either Nassau or Suffolk that we could go to dance the night away? We would consider NYC if it isn't too pricy.

Thanks in advance!

There is a place in Blue Point called BLUE. It looks really nice for dinner and I hear the nightlife is not bad.

There is also a club in Bethpage called the Manor. It is a swingers club, however, FH and I went with a bunch of ppl last halloween and we had the most fun we ever had at a club. They have open bar packages and an awesome dj.

Ooh don't go to Blue. Service is terrible. Food is HORRIBLE!!! Its' a good place to drink but not to eat. It's not just a bad experience either. Whenever I talk to anyone about Blue they make a face.

Savannah in East Meadow.
Or what about a wine bar? Novita in Garden City.

If your going in the summer or in early Sept go to Fire Island. They restaurants start to close in late Sept, they kind of start tapering off depending on the weather so there is never an exact closing date.

Its so much fun. Take the ferry from Bay Shore to Ocean Beach. Dinners aren't cheap, so your best bet would be Bocce or Albatross or there is a new restaurant I haven't been to yet thats supposed to be great. THe ones on the water are more but you have Mermaid, Matthews, Hideaway and Maguires.
Then bar hop... they have covers on Sat nights but at mine they let us skip them or charged us less. Bars to hit... CJs, Housers, & Mermaid. Matthews if you can go on a weekday (Fishbowl Thursdays).

If you want a little cheaper night or to do it during the day (particularly Sunday) then head to Ocean Bay Park and hit Flynns. Its a great time always.

As for good clubs on Long Island... there is always Mulcahys. There is one location in Wantagh and another in Centerreach. Been to bachelorette parties at both. Both great places.

it's a restaurant, not a club but it's really fun....

tortilla flats in nyc. you get dinner and 2 hour open bar for $50!

we went there for my bach party and then went to hunkomania and then out to bars. it was a ton of fun and cheap for what you get!

Thanks for all the replies and advice!! The one struggle that I'\m having is that my friend's wedding is late January, so the bachelorette party will be sometime in December... we were going to do it in November because we wanted better weather but, I'm getting married in November and so is another bridesmaid.....
I'm going to look at the tortilla place in NYC, that seems interesting... I will be happy to take any ither suggestions. Thank you again so much!

you should try to go out whenever people are out of collage because that's when most places are packed. like around holidays/breaks. Savannah is great around then on a sat night and has free to get in, open bar for an hour. (just double fist drinks) awesome club. though if you went right now it'd be dead because everyone parties on the water or by the water in the summer or the hamptons.

I haven't been in awhile but glo is nice too in westbury but it's not cheap on drinks. I love the nutty in either farmingdale or bayshore too. always some cover band and in between sets a dj. I've never had a bad time there.

if you want somewhere nice to eat but not the cheapest there is Circa in Mineola (I go there all the time), Four in Farmingdale (it's a really pretty place too and that food is amazing, they even have cool drinks and cotton candy and all that cutesy stuff. I'm going there soon for my bday) honu is a nice place too in huntington. novita in garden city. then if you want family style ciao baby in massapequa where my man happens to work as a chef. so I had to throw that in.

I go out to eat a lot and to bars lol. it really depends on what you want to do.

you could do something fun and wintery themed... is she more a club girl or a bar girl?

you could do like a snuggie bar tour and go around to different bars wearing snuggies! i saw this once... it was awesome

Hey not sure how big you are on wine or beer BUT check out http://longislandbrewerytours.com/
You choose from 5 or 6 LI breweries and a limo takes you all there...prices include the beer tasting...very cool! When you go to that site, you can also link to the winery tours....

Fun time if your into that!

Good Luck!
