Bachelorette Party

Hi Ladies,

Just curious. I've been in a few bridal parties in my day, first time bride... Jut wondering who normally pays for the Bachelorette Party? I feel like it's always different depending on the situation. I've been in a few where the bm's pay but I have also been in parties where we go away and the bride paid for herself.

I wouldn't expect to go on a trip and not pay anything... What are your thoughts?

I think it depends on the circumstances and on your BMs. If you are doing something local, like a night out in the city, it might be reasonable to have your BMs chip in to cover your costs. If you are having a destination bach party where you need airfare and hotels, I don't think it's reasonable to expect your BMs to cover all your costs. Try to put yourself in their position and see how you would feel. There are a lot of costs that go into being a BM, including the bach party.

If you are unsure, talk with your BMs - I'm sure they will be honest with you and let you know what they can afford/want to spend.
