Bachelorette Party

I was thinking of having mine Thanksgiving weekend, since my teacher friends will be off that Friday. The only problem is, it's a whole 2 months before my wedding. Is that weird? Should I try and make it closer to our actual wedding date?

Bachelorette Party

Do it whenever is easier. My sister in law lived in Maryland when she was marrying my brother so I made her bachelorette party two months before. She was going to be up here that weekend for my nieces 1st birthday party so it was easier to do it then.

Edited to add- Fh bestfriend lives in Vegas and is getting married in Hawaii in July so the guys are going to Vegas next month for his bachelor party.

I think it't perfect timing for you with all the holidays right before your wedding.

Not at all. I am probably having mine 2 months before too. We are getting married in January and would like to have my party before the holidays.

I'm doing mine in August for my October wedding. I'm a teacher and don't want to do it when school is starting.

That's TOTALLY fine! My brother had to have his bachelor party in November even though his wedding is in May because he works tax season.

I am having mine two months before too and was having the same dilemma! There was just too much going on in the month before to try and squeeze in a bachelorette party too.

Bachelorette Party

One of my OOT bridesmaids is going to be around in March, but then not again until the week of the wedding, so my MOH is planning my bachelorette party for about FIVE months before my wedding.

I'd say you're fine!

I agree with the other girls, 2 months before is not an issue. I had mind just over 2 months before our date and it worked out great! For you it will probably be even better because you can get it out of the way before everyone gets super busy in December with the holidays, and you dont want it right before, you will have too much other stuff to finalize.
