I am renting a hotel room in midtown so my sister and I can hang out during the weekend and so sister stuff together (get massages, get our hair done, etc.). Then for the actual bachelorette party with all of my friends, we had 2 ideas:
1) All of my friends come to the hotel, where we will eat at the hotel's restaurant (which will probably cost each girl at least $60 if they just order an entree and a drink or two), then go to a bar where we would get pole dancing lessons and maybe a fortune teller, then just go bar hopping. This will cost each girl at least $200 if you add in the cost of the lessons, dinner, a drink or two and some taxi rides.
2) We go to a restaurant that does both dinner and dancing, and each girl will probably need to pay less than $100.
I make a lot more than my friends, but I want to be considerate because I know some of them have less disposable income each month for stuff like this.
Which option do you think is better? I really like the first option the best but I don't want to make my friends pay a lot of money if everyone thinks it is too much.

Re: Bachelorette party advice?
I would ask them which one they would prefer. they might not mind spending the extra money

The first one sounds like a lot of fun but how about you go to a lesser expensive dinner near where the dancing lessons and fortune teller are (if they are after all near each other), and being that it' s the city, there are bars everywhere anyway.
Maybe you can have the fortune teller meet you in your hotel room and she can do the readings there.

for my friends bp, we got her a suite at the flatotel, the suite was AMAZING. VERY high ceilings, wrap around balcony, 3brs, 3bathrooms, kitchen and huge living room. They hired a woman to come do a passion party at around8pm so bc of that we bought food and ate in the suite. We also bought lots of bottles of liquor and let me say, we had the best time in the room. We definitely had some of the best moments then, plus it was good bc we took advantage of the suite. Also the nyc strip pole classes, they'll come to you too so you can do that. We hung out at the hotel until around 11pm then went to a club.
Have you called the pole dancing place? it was about $60 each person, so if you want to cut costs it might work out to eat in the suite.
What restaurant would you go to that does dinner and dancing? there are some places where its a restaurant until a certain time and then restaurant closes and club opens around 11pm, i know providence does this.
I agree about having a fortune teller come to the hotel
