I thought we could compile a list of different bachelorette party ideas. I know some of us are staring to think about this and it would be great to hear other's experiences and what they liked and what they didn't.
Recently I went to Birdies Bachelorette party in the city and then it turns into the culture club. We had a lot of fun, they do special things for the bride to be and theres a lot of laughing, especially at yourselves.
What other things have you guys done that were great or things that you would love to do and haven't yet

Well we had gone to trump taj mahal in AC, it was amazing because they came up to our suite with chocolate and our bathrobes and such and then walked us to the salon! the bride got her extensions done that day too! defiantly alot of fun always in AC

Re: bachelorette party ideas
My bridesmaid just recently did the following...
started out going wine tasting in south hamptom. I believe they went to duckwalk. they brought a cooler with veggies and cheese and there was a band there. they said they had a blast.
Then, they went to dinner out in south hamptoms.
Then they went to a club (I think it was stereo by the shore). They got a cabana there.
They got rooms out there and had breakfast the next morning.
I like this because people can celebrate with you but decide what they want to do. If they don't really have the money to do it all they go winetasting. Some might want to do the winetasting and dinner. so it gives people options which I like.
I also like the idea that it's a mini vacation. You can even do the beach the next day, shopping etc...

Re: bachelorette party ideas
great idea!
Ok for my sister, the girls went to Escapes LOL this was ten years ago though and I was too young to go. . . and i HATE male strip clubs
My SIL went to AC but didn't tell me bc she thought i was underage ( um i wasnt )
My cousin in law we went to Don Juan and they actually have a whole bach party thing they do where you have to like eat this peepee cake out of the guys lap with no hands - pretty funny then we went to Mirage and danced
For my cousin we went to a steak place in Queens then a bar in Freeport and then ended up in Mirage again ( lol i swear if i end up there for mine i am going to scream )
For MINE, I would like to spend the day at a spa, come home and change - go out to dinner and then just go someplace with a bar. I hope we can stay on LI though bc i want to go right before my birthday in December and the city is too crazy around the holidays ( IMO i dont like crowds - actually, dont like the city LOL )
For my friend's we are looking into a pole dancing class, dinner and then a club

Re: bachelorette party ideas
i planned my SIL's b-party and it was a BLAST if i do say so myself!!
here is what we did:
-started off w girly cocktails at her apartment in the city, where we crowned her w her bachelorette tiara
-belly dancing lessons
-dinner at really good mexican restaraunt w lots of margaritas
-THE DONKEY SHOW (it was way better than i thought it would be!)
-bar hopping in the city
everyone had such a great time, and my SIL still tells me all the time that it was the most fun night of her life. i usually don't boast or anything, but i really thought i did a good job...it was so fun!

Re: bachelorette party ideas
I am doing one of the following: Every person who i am good friends with who wants to come meet up for a din din at Atlantic City at a Irish Pub in a casino then go out casino bar hopping and then go to my room the continue the party there. (guys and gals)
OR just a few of my friends (guys and gals) going down to Washington DC to go to my favorite Irish pub / place where I got engaged living it up there, going to free museums and partying up.
REAL backup: Going a bar, then strip club where some of my friends kinda work getting free lap dances then finding myself in a ditch somewhere like I use to when I was 18! That is why this is the backup plan

Re: bachelorette party ideas
I told my girls I would like spa treatment, pole/stripping lessons, dinner and dancing... We all have significant others i thought the stripping classes would be a blast. there is a place in the city that also teaches lap dancing classes.

Re: bachelorette party ideas
I planned my friend's last Feb in AC and we had an amazing time.
This is what we did to keep the costs down:
We stayed at the Hamptons INN (about 2 miles from the boardwalk) - and it was soooo much cheaper than staying at one of the hotels. It was like a $5 cab ride total which we all split to get to dinner/club, etc.
We went to dinner at Hard Rock Cafe, which was really fun because we could be loud and obnoxious and the male (hot!) waiter made the bride to be take a blow job shot out of his lap basically....hilarious.
Then we went to the Casbah club and had an awesome time.
I am planning on having mine in NYC, but wanted to share this for girls thinking of AC

the donkey show was so fun! I saw that and loved it. I'm pretty sure it closed though. that would be a great idea for bachelorette parties.

Re: bachelorette party ideas
i would like to go to either tony and tinas wedding or the awesome 80's prom, both in the city, dinner and drinks too...i would have loved to go to the wineries out east and then out, but they close at 6 and then to go the city would be just too much
