I thought we could compile a list of different bachelorette party ideas. I know some of us are staring to think about this and it would be great to hear other's experiences and what they liked and what they didn't.
Recently I went to Birdies Bachelorette party in the city and then it turns into the culture club. We had a lot of fun, they do special things for the bride to be and theres a lot of laughing, especially at yourselves.
What other things have you guys done that were great or things that you would love to do and haven't yet

Re: bachelorette party ideas
i have been thinking about this recently ... i would like to make a weekend out of it, fri night male revue on LI - I think ICE is one? And then go out for the night. Maybe stay in a hotel on LI, then Sat morning drive to Mohegan and hang out there all day / night, come home Monday. OR split it up - male revue and out drinking Sat night, then another weekend, mohegan. or AC, I guess, I just liked Mohegan more.
I have stayed at a comfort inn in AC to save money, it is like 2 miles away, not bad, great breakfast the next day. My cousin and I took a cab back and they wanted $35! There was no meter so they can charge whatever they want I guess but we talked him down I think to $25? Still a lot for 2 miles! If I go to AC I will have to find a better way to get around. :)

Re: bachelorette party ideas
I know one of the owners of porkeys he's a hofstra grad...it's a crazy place..lol
I want to keep costs down so Friday night I think I will have my bridesmaids over for like wine and stuff maybe grab a quick bite and have a girls night...then saturday we are going to do a pole dancing class out here on LI...everyone can go get ready meet up at my place and take a limo to the city for dinner and out to a bar after. I wanted to make a weekend out of it with out actually having to go away and have people pay for a hotel room. This way people can join in whatever activity they like.

i'd like both....thinking of a lapdancing class during the day, then head to the hotel to freshen up for dinner...start at small bars and work our way to dancing at the clubs....thanks for the suggestions.
