Bachelorette Party Ideas
I am MOH in my best friend's wedding in June (She is also my MOH) and I have to plan her bachelorette party. We only have a few people overlapping, none in the wedding party, but I still want her bachelorette party to be different than mine. I know for mine I want to go on a bus to the wineries. I love it out there and my FH and I were engaged out there, so it is meaningful as well. She isn't into the whole city/club scene. She is a yoga teacher and loves her wine also. She is getting married in Hudson Valley. Does anyone have any ideas for April/May of next year? Either on the island or in Hudson Valley? Would want something calming but also somewhere where we can drink/dance.
Thanks ladies! :)

I went to a bachelorette party this past May (first weekend) and the MOH found a house to rent in the hamptons! It was AMAZING and soooo relaxing! Because it was before the summer season the house wasn't that expensive but we all had a blast and the house was beautiful (had a huge hot tub in the backyard also)There are so great restaurants/bars in the area also! Worth checking out if you're planning an overnight trip!!!

I know you wanted the island but my girls just took me on such a fun bachelorette last weekend in the city (and I am a beach girl at heart have no tolerance for the city lol). We went to the Artful Bachelorette down in the East Village. It was a wine/cheese and painting party. However, you dont paint a flower a tree, you draw a naked man!!! We had a private room, an instructor, and our naked model. It was soooo much fun. He is such a good sport and it was not at all raunchy. We had such great laughs. They provide you with cheese and champagne and then we brought our own wine and beer to accompany it. After the session was over we out to a really nice dinner. I highly suggest for someone who is like me and doesnt want a big fuss or clubs.

I'm not a big party girl and I had a great bachelorette party in the city!! My MOH used airbnb and got us an awesome apartment in the city for the night. We then walked to a dance studio where we took a pole dancing class. After the class we had dinner and went to a roof top bar! I absolutely LOVED the pole dancing class!!! I want to go back, haha!

Most of the bachelorette parties I have gone too involved Atlantic City (Borgata and Revel: which is no more) and Foxwoods. I've done two paint Nite events (where you drink and paint with an instructor) and love it. Their website says you can organize a private event and that's something I would look into. The next bachorlette party I'm apart of, the bride wants to go see a male revue show in the city, that'll be interesting lol!

I wanted a nice relaxing getaway with my girlfriends and my MOH rented a house in Montauk at the end of March. We got such a good deal, and there are great restaurants, chill bars!

What was the name of the rooftop bar? I want to go to a place that plays fun music that you can sing a long with not house music.
