any ideas what bars to hit? We are all in our early/mid 30's and want a fun place to dance (pref. fun 80s/90's music) and hang out that's night super trendy and not a nightclub. Any ideas?

Polyesters is a 70's club and Culture Club is 80's- not sure what age group goes there these days- its been about 8 yrs since I have been there! yikes! I do remember having an awesome time there! Other than that I am not sure- been out of the club scene for a looong time. sorry! HTH

Not into the club scene either. I think both of those clubs are gone.

Not into the club scene either. I think both of those clubs are gone.

I'm in my 30's, I have my birthday party every year at TG Whitney's. Its just a big Irish bar, and they have Karaoke on Weekend evenings. YOu can call and reserve tables if you have a bunch of people coming. Its in the low 50's on the East side, and gets a mixed age crowd, some younger than us, some older. Its a fun place.

If you want a 'trendy night out'- I don't think any of those places will really give you that.

80's prom is really cheesy but I have heard good things--- and you will definately get your 80's music! But it is more 'kitchy' then 'trendy'
