Bachelorette Party is Officially Planned!!!
I am so excited cause yesterday I booked the hotel rooms for my Bachelorette Party! We are going to Ocean City, Maryland for the weekend. We will go up on a Friday night and have all day Saturday to play. We are actually staying at the same hotel where my FH proposed to me. It looks like a castle and is right on the beach. They have a beach bar and grille and an awesome breakfast buffet. They have a huge pool, live entertainment, and even serve you food and drinks while you lounge on the beach.
We will probably hang out at the beach for a while and then head over to Seacrets Nightclub in the afternoon. They have these floaties in the bay that you can lay out on and drink your frozen fruity rum drinks. Then we will probably have a really nice dinner somewhere overlooking the water cause it is restaurant week and you can get some cheap deals!!!
Of course we will head back to Seacrets Nightclub to party and dance our butts off!!!!! If you have never been there, it is AMAZING!!! Truly one of the best beach clubs around!! They call it Jamaica USA cause you feel like you have been transported to the islands. It has a restaurant with awesome food including some of the best jerk chicken I have ever had. They have multiple clubs and bars all on the beach surrounded by palm trees. Google it for pics.
I already have my bachelorette supplies...Soon to be Mrs. Schmidt sash, tiara, flashing pin, feather boa, bachelorette party music CD, car decorations for the way down, deck of dares for everyone (nothing raunchy though).
The only thing that makes me mad is that my BMs are such duds!!! My mom is planning my shower and I am planning my own bachelorette and having it put in my sister's name probably, so it does not look stupid. I should not have to do that, but my wedding is less than three months away and so far no one has asked me what I want to do for my Bachelorette Party. Arrrrggghhhhh!!!![]()
Because it is a beach resort in June they have a two night minimum, but I got the cheapest/nice place possible. It will end up costing them $90 for the hotel, $10 cover for the club, and $30 for dinner and that is already split between 8 girls. That does not even pay for my portion of the room!!!
My FH put the whole thing on his credit card and they are all supposed to chip in to pay us back, but I have a feeling they will balk. I would rather have them pay $50 or whatever they can afford than not go. Cause if they do not go, I get no money back!![]()
I want the letter asking them to chip in to come from my sister though.
I have to admit, I hate the fact that I am going to probably end up paying for part of my own Bachelorette Party, but if I do not do it this way, I will probably get nothing. I do not think they should mind forking out the dough cause 1.) My mom is paying for and planning my entire shower. 2.) Their dresses were only $128 and I am buying them the jewelry to match. 3.) I already bought all of my own supplies for the party and 4.) I figure they owe me cause I always support them no matter what.
I was thinking of buying everyone shirts that say 'Debi's Last Night Out' or something like that, but honestly, I do not know if they deserve it. They are the worst BMs ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!![]()
