Bachelorette Party on Labor Day Weekend?

So I would love to do my bachelorette party about a month before the wedding. It ends up being that that would be Labor Day Weekend. I would love to do a Friday-Sunday morning getaway in AC. I live in SI and my friends and I go there a lot. I just checked the rates for some of the bigger hotels for that weekend this year and compared to the weekend after that it's only 16 dollars more for the room, if we put 5 girls in a room with 2 Queen beds, 125 as opposed to 109 for September 11-13. I would just love to do it that weekend when most of us would have off that Friday and Monday so it's not that the whole weekend is spent for me. Also, it would be nice to have a day to recover before going back to work. Do you think it ruins people's weekends by doing it then and I should consider more the weekend after? I would like to do dinner that Friday night and keep it lowkey possibly and then spend the day at the pool that Saturday and go out hardcore that night.

I would ask your bridal party how they feel about it. Two things to remember, 1) the cost of everything, it can still add up with hotel, food, activities. and 2) a lot of people go away that weekend, so make sure no one has plans.

My cousin is getting married the weekend after labor day, and when we were considering the date for her party, a lot of girls did not want labor day weekend bc of vacation plans.
