So I had brunch today with another couple that FH and I are pretty close with. I invited her to my bachelorette party but she doesnt really know my other friends. She asked if she could bring her sister since she doesnt really know anyone else and I was kind of caught offguard. I mean I have met her sister a few times but I'm not close with her. I didnt really know what to say and the subject kind of got changed. What should I do? I think we are going to dinner and a club for my bach party. I mean do I tell her it's really for close friends only? Or do I just tell her it's okay to bring her sister out? I'm at a loss here. What would you ladies do ?

I personally, wouldnt let her bring her sister. You could tell her that its just close friends if you would rather have one of YOUR friends to fit in the limo. If you really do want your friend to be there, then I would let the sister go because she might feel to uncomfortable to go. Do you have the room in the limo for her sister?

Yea I think there would be room for her and I know my friend is like super excited to go and I definitely want her there. Is it weird to have someone there that I'm not super close with?

Personally I dont think its a big deal really...l mentioned it to one of my bridesmaids and she absolutely no way can she go -that a bachelorette party is for close friends only. But I mean what happens if I met someone I knew at the club...am I not allowed to talk to her since she isnt part of the bach party? LOL. I mean I just dont think its a huge deal either but I wanted to get others input.

I think you should let her bring her sister. Otherwise she might not be comfortable going at all.

It really depends on how you feel about the situation. If you dont care if she comes then I would say tell her its fine. If you really feel like you just wanted it for close friends then I would tell her that in a nice way. Also if you tell her yes I dont know if your other friends would care that only she is bringing someone

Re: Bachelorette party question
I'd ask your bridal party if they are throwing it for you what they think. Does she really need her sister there? Maybe she does or maybe she just thinks you want more people. If it's only close friends then I wouldn't but be prepared that she may not come.

She was asking if she could bring her sister since she doesnt know the rest of my friends.
