I dont think there is a standard for bachelor/bacherlorette parties

One of FH groomsmen is planning his, but I am planning my own. One of my BM keeps telling me she will do it but i really dont mind doing it myself

usually ur moh/bms plan ur bachelorette party and bestman/gm plan the bachelor party, but nowdays sometimes the bride and groom plan their own 'cause they just like it that way

This is more what I thought, or at least help?!?! but my one MOH doesnt seem to want to help in all and idk, i kida feel awkward planning it myself. FH and I are both getting stuck planning our own and I dont even have the slightest clue what to do?!?! I only have a few very close friends so its nothing big... any ideas?!?!?

Sometimes it's just the BMs who plan it. Others times it's planned with the bride when it's not a surprise.

For me, I wanted to be involved with the planning.

I'm almost positive my girls are bringing me to the city and spend the weekend there, I have the feeling their theme is Sex and the City (my favorite show) 'cause they keep asking me about things related to it. FH told his friends he only wanted to go shark fishing and dinner. u can pretty much do anything u want

its how ever you want to do it... if you trust your friends to pick something you will enjoy then let them plan it... if not then you plan it...

one of my MOH and I wanted to do a surprise baby shower for my other MOH but she totally refused 'cause she wanted to get involved so she organized the whole thing!

i dont think there's a standard for who plans it. but i know my MOHs are planning mine for Vegas and my friends are planning my NYC one.

for other bach parties i've been to, i planned 1/2 of one b/c i was a BM and another one, the MOH planned it and I was a BM but really didn't do anything for it

I decided to leave the shower to the BP and do the bacherlorette on my own

if you know what you want, just go ahead and plan it yourselves so you won't be disappointed. FH and I wanted to go to Vegas and so we planned it ourseleves with input from our friends/bridal party.

I think it was less stressful for both parties since people just have to show up and party and we don't have to stress about what the details may be
