Bachelorette party questions

What kinds of bachelorette parties are you ladies having?

Is it okay for me to get involved in the planning or tell my Maid of Honor what I have in mind?

Who is supposed to be invited? Only people who are being invited to the wedding?

I'm stressing out a little at the moment...trying to find a fun place in NYC to do my sis's bach. party...she does not want a club but wants a fun bar and dancing also a fun place for dinner..nothing formal ...something with music would be great....was thinking of tao for dinner but I've heard mixed reviews....any suggestions..

You could try suba, its a restaurant in the city that turns into a club type thing at night. The music was really good when I went and the food is always good.

As far as getting involved in the planning....go ahead. I gave my girls ideas of what I wanted (not that I'm getting what I really wanted anyway) and what I definately didnt want.

We're doing a low-key party: just dinner and then a sleepover type thing.

When it comes to guests -- i strongly suggest that you dont invite anyone who isnt invited to the wedding. I pretty much asked to invite my BP, a few very close girlfriends, and my mom and FMIL.
