Bachelorette party vent!!

I have been dealing with some bachelorette drama. I am still waiting for two of my friends to decide if they are going to come or not. It is next weekend so I asked them to let me know by Monday. Try not to let it stress you out too much. I allowed myself to get really upset over it and it is not worth it.

Yea you are right. I definitely get way too upset over stuff like this...I guess its because its coming from my sister and I just expected her to be there. I feel like no matter what nobody is going to love what we do and people will think its crazy $. I just didnt think that $100 give or take a little bit is that much money for my friends to spend. I mean I spend that on just a night out once in a while.

i ended up postponing mine.. till august, and now people are still complaining and backing out!!

Thank you! You actually made me feel better...I just cant deal with it anymore. I'm just planning a nite out and whoever comes comes. I'm not writing back and responding to stupid emails. If someone has a problem call me or talk to me...dont stand behind a computer bashing me UGH.

UGH! I just dont get people. Are you still going to have one? I thought about just cancelling the whole thing.

I went wine tasting. It was actually alot of fun. We got a limo and went wine tasting and then went to port Jefferson for fondue. We were supposed to go out that night but we were all wracked so we had a second party in Manhattan. We went to lips which was a blast and then went to random bars for drinks and dancing. I had an amazing time! Also it allowed people who couldn't do the wine tasting date to do the night party. Maybe that could be an option?

i would just plan what you want, and whoevre can afford it and wants to go will be there! i feel terrible with all the money that my girls are having to shell out for me, but in reality, if they were in this situation i would be doing the same thing for them!! if you wanna take a limo to the hamptons i say go for it!

First of all I'm so sorry you have to go through this. I don't know why people can't just make the bride happy! It's just ridiculous. Also I'd like to add that I just got invited to a good friend's bachelorette party which is a wine tasting tour in a limo, out East on Long Island, going to 4-5 different spots included on the tour. It's about $140 per person they said. So your Hamptons idea isn't more money than a wine tasting anyway! I know it will work for you in the end and you will have an amazing time no matter what!

I am sorry

We are going to fire island.. taking the ferry over.. drinking.. coming back on the last ferry (1am) and hitting up a local bar. Its laid back and affordable for everyone. We are doing dinner before but whoever can't afford it doesn't have to come to dinner. That could be an option for you maybe? I think the ferry is $8.. and $16 for the last one.
