Can anyone explain the difference to me? And when you give presents at one, do you give at the other. And are wedding presents separate? I'm clueless about the tradition as I'm not native born. Thanks!

Re: Bachelor's Party vs Bridal Shower
do you mean when do YOU get presents OR when do YOU give presents to your girls?

Re: Bachelor's Party vs Bridal Shower
bridal shower you get presents and its during the day and a calm experience. To me a bachelorette party is a wild crazy night(s) out with the girls. I went to vegas with 11 girls for mine.

Re: Bachelor's Party vs Bridal Shower
I'm wondering if bridal shower presents and wedding presents are two separate things. Ie. you must give two separate gifts. I'm not going to a bride's shower but am going to her wedding.
Do I need to give one present for the wedding and one for the shower?
And if you're attending the shower, are you obligated to send a gift?

I think if you don't go to the shower you don't need to send a gift unless maybe you're close to the bride or groom (family or close friend).

Re: Bachelor's Party vs Bridal Shower
For the shower it is usually a gift- from the registry or somewhere else...
For the wedding- from what I know of and have seen/done it is usually a cash gift
For the bachelorette party- it is time for the girls to get together and have fun doing whatever- typically but def. not always a night out...and sometimes some gag gifts- funny stuff is given but is def. not necessary
