For my bachlorette party, I wanted to stay a night or two at Ocean beach in a house, or in one of the hotels there. I'm currently looking at a place which holds 10 people for only one night and it would be about $100 a person. Then I was looking into a house for the weekend and the prices fluctuate from $200.00 and up. I don't want people to have to spend a lot of money for one night but I'm not sure what is appropriate?
I was wondering if anyone could give me a price on how much your Bachlorette Party is costing your friends? I know it depend on what you are doing so maybe you can give be some suggestions.

Do you know the financial situation of your friends that would come? I have a few that are really well off and a few that money is really tight, so we are just going out to dinner in NYC and to a dueling pianos bar after. I wanted everyone to be there so I told MOH I don't need a big to do.

When I planned my sister's bachelorette party it cost everyone $75 each to chip in for their hotel stay and my sister's hotel stay and dinner. I thought that was very reasonable. Additional costs were dinner and drinks afterwards, which was really up to how much each person wanted to spend on themselves. If you are doing an overnight I think around $100-$125 is reasonable. That's also around what I chipped in for my best friends bachelorette party recently. I would say $200 for the evening just for housing is over my budget.
