Back from Aruba

I know lots of people are going so here is a mini-review..

Divi Resort - Really nice place. Food was good, drinks were strong! Rooms were clean, service was great.

Jet skiing - LOTS of fun!

Kuku Koonookoo Bus- A MUST! We had a great time on this. Advice: PACE yourself. We were drunk at dinner! The bars are all a blur! But the pics are another story!

Carlos & Charlies: Fun place, good drinks. OK food.

Rumba: Small restaurant behind the Renassaince hotel - Food was excellent! Loved it. Highly recommend.

Friends of ours went to La Petite Cafe and cooked there own steak on the rocks..they said it was so-so.

Shopping - OK..lots of places that we have here are also there. Bargain with the people in the little huts. I got better deals on everything. Duty Free at the airport is Fantastic!! Alcohol is so cheap!

Allahambra casino - Had a great time playing there. We always went late night (2am or so) So it was always slightly empty so we got good service.

Golf course - Forgot the name but the guys all played a round of golf. Loved the course, and the GPS systems in the golf carts. Very hot. And had a lot of goats!

Overall had a blast. Weather was good...but it is VERY windy! Which was nice for a breeze but it blows over cups and blows clothes away! Also watch out for the iguanas!! They are everywhere!

Any questions let me know!

Re: Back from Aruba

Sounds like you had a great trip! If you don't mind me asking, where did you stay? My husband and I are looking to book a one week vacation in Aruba in the next few days and can't decide on where to stay. Its between:
Wyndham
Hyatt
or
Radisson

I have heard pros and cons of each and can't decide! THANKS IN ADVANCE for any help you can offer!

Re: Back from Aruba

We stayed at the Divi but from your list I think the Wyndham is your best bet! Good Luck!
