Back from Hawaii...

and ready to start planning a wedding. Hehe.
Well actually we're probably just going to book the RH over the next few weeks (I have my heart set on The Crescent Beach club-but we'll look at some other places too). After that, I think we're gonna wait a while to start booking the other vendors. We sort of got into our first argument last night about how we are going to afford this. Looks like our guest list is going to be around 200 people. And that's before we get to the B list.

Hawaii was AWESOME! (If you hadn't read my other thread, we got engaged in Maui). Not just because of the engagement but we loved Maui more than Kauai. For anyone going there anytime soon, DO NOT stay at the Sheraton in Kauai. We spent about $1000 to stay there for 3 nights, got woken up by rooster crowing at 5 am and found a 2 inch long cockroach hanging out on our shower curtain the morning we left. Otherwise we had a fabulous time.
I've been back since Thursday night, but worked from home on Friday. Today was my first day back at work (with a bad cold no less) and it *****. I miss laying on the beach.

My sister got married at the Crescent Beach Club! It was sooo beautiful. We had the best time ever at her wedding!

If you don't mind me asking what was her price per person. I have this huge fear that it is either going to be out of our budget or the date I want will be booked.

Welcome back! Just wanted to tell you that the Crescent Beach Club is amazing! Dont know if you've been to an event there or just like it from pictures but I went to a wedding there this past June... amazing! Good luck!

Cockroach and rooster aside I hope it was a blast. I loved going to Hawaii - funny we had a cockroach in our hotel room to the first night! LOL well welcome back!

Apparently they are common there (like in FL where they call them palmetto bugs or something). Because when I told the woman at the front desk she laughed. I wanted to say to her 'in most states in the US roaches are associated with filth so you might want to not laugh about it' but I figured it would be lost on her.
