back from my sleep study

First of all I want to thank all of you you commented on my thread about me being nervous. You really helped to ease my mind

Well fh brought me there and it was sad having to say gooodbye b/c I sleep w/ him evry night so anyway, it took 45 minutes for them to hook me up to the gazillion wires, I had someting up my nose, gook in my hair, it was gross, but they put the t.v on and said goodnight.

Well I think I may have slept for a total of an hour. I was so tired but my brain just would not shut off, the pillows were hard and I just didn't feel comfortable. I laid awake for hours tossing and turning trying not to strangle myself w/ the wires.

So I am home now and exhausted, I hope they got enough information b/c I do not want to do that again and my insurance probably won't cover it again.

Thanks again for all your kind words and prayers, I will let you know when I hear the results

Glad you are back. That does sound uncomfortable. I am sure they got enough information so you won't have to do it again. They have to know people aren't going to be able to sleep in a new place like that with all these wires hooked up to them. Keep us updated and take a nice nap.

ugh i know the feeling...im so so sad to leave my fh when i had to go..people thought i was nuts when i said that...it was uncomfortable but bearable...hope u get good results...

I have done that before too and it doesnt help!! you are too 'wound' up for the test and it is hard to fall asleep with all those things attached. Glad that it is over though!

i'm glad it's over!! i'm sure a lot of people have trouble sleeping there so hopefully the short amount of time you were actually asleep is enough for their test results.

relax today and get some rest...you deserve it!!

I haven't been on that much lately so I didn't read your other post, but I'm so sorry you had to go through that, but I'm glad its over and I hope they find out whats wrong, and hope you don't have to do it again!!
